Late Sri Ambika Sharan Singh passed away on July 7th at The Claridges Hotel due to a heart attack. In light of his untimely demise, various individuals and organizations have called for an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Numerous prominent figures and leaders visited the hotel to pay their respects. Subsequently, his body was transported to Patna, where it was first taken to the residence of a close friend. Following this, it was brought to the Vidhan Sabha, where leaders gathered to offer their tributes. Proceedings were adjourned for half a day, and the national flag was flown at half-mast in his honor. Below are the condolence messages from various leaders and eminent personalities of Bihar.

Late Kailashpati Singh and Late Laita Rajya Laxmi both MLA : In seprated messages that just when Mr Singh was all set to embark on his job to shape the destiny of Bihar , his carrer was cut short by his death .

Late Karpuri Thakur " The pre mature death of the Mr Singh was great suprise and shock to him as a prminent leader of the student congress , Mr Singh had participated in the Freedom movement and was jailed various times . Ambika Babu had the quality of maintaining frindship in destress .

Mr G S Dalmai ( Chairmain Bihar Indutries Association ) : In the sad and premature demise of Ambika Sharan Singh Bihar has lost a variant Freedom Fighter , a seasoned politician and amiable personality courtesy personafied . He had a way of dealing with people both high and low which soon endared him or to all who came in his contact . His passing away has been a void in the state which it may be difficult to fill .

Late Thaur Prassad ( Industry Minister ) : He was a deligent leader and had contributed towards the Freedom movement and his death is a great loss for Bihar.

Manorama Pandey : In the death of Mr Ambika Sharan Singh Bihar has lost a matured politician and an able administrator .

Late Chaturnath Mishra ( Leader CPI Legislature Party ) - " Described the death as a very sad strength of the state . Mr Mishra said that one of the qualities in Ambika Babu was he always kept personal relation above polticis .

Late Narsingh Baitha ( Legistrator ) : On his death the vacccum which is created in bihar Poltics cant be filled .

Late Mungeri Lal Baitha ( Then Congress President ) : He has lost a well wisher .

Late Shyamle Navi ( Then Congress General Secretary ) : Mr Singh worked very efficiently as Bihar Congress Comitte General Secretaty , though they has differances in their ideology he was a friend in need . Bihar has lost a Deligent Leader"

Mr. Vasisth Narayan Singh in his Presidential Address : Mr Singh an able administrator , well wisher of downtroden and one of the main pillar of Jay Prakash Samargh Kranti , his demise has created a void place in Bihar politics .

Mr Mithlesh Kumar Singh : " Since Independence Struggle till his death he was deligent Janayak and he was the Iron Man of Bihar "

Exhibition Road Cricket Club : " Mr Ajiteshwar Prassad Jitu Exective Committe Member of Patna District Cricket Association who was in the chair said that Late Mr Singh was an all rounder , he was also attached with number of sports organisation and was one of the parton of ERCC in the year 1967-68 and 68-69 "

He was truly regarded as " अजातशत्रु " and in his last journey leaders like then CM Karpuri Thakur , Late Tripurari Prassad , Speaker Vidhan Sabha , Former CM Bihar Dr Jagannath Mishra , Late Abdul Gafoor , Late Kedar Pandey , Late Daroga Rai ( Former Cm Bihar ), Sardar Harihar Singh ( Former CM Bihar ).Late Chaturnath Mishra , Late Ramlakhan Singh Yadav ( The Opposition Leader ) Late Harinath Mishra , Late Deep Naryan Singh , Late Satyendra Narayan Singh , MP Late Digvijay Narain Singh various other prominent Leaders were Present at Bas Gath .Prior to the arrival of the funeral procession at Bans Ghat, a substantial crowd had gathered at the burning ghat, leaving minimal space for the police contingent to assume their positions with arms reversed. He was cremated with State Honours at Bans Ghat, despite his wish to be cremated at Shalempur Ghat, which is situated near his village of Dhamar.
